Pesticides testing is the process of analyzing samples to detect and measure the presence and concentration of pesticide residues.
The testing is typically performed on a variety of samples, including food, water, soil, and air, to ensure that they are free from harmful levels of pesticide residues.
The testing process involves several steps, including sample preparation, extraction, separation, identification, and quantification.
These steps can be performed using different techniques and methods, depending on the sample type, the target analyte, and the regulatory requirements.
eg:- Gas chromatography (GC): GC is a powerful analytical technique used to separate and analyze volatile and semi-volatile compounds.
It is commonly used for the analysis of pesticide residues in food, water, and soil samples.
