APPCB Notice 01/09/2026

APPCB has informed Building & Construction Projects and Township/Area Development Projects to obtain the required environmental approvals before starting work.

Building projects: EC applies for ≥20,000 sq.m. and <1,50,000 sq.m. built-up area (8a).
Township/Area Development: EC applies for ≥50 hectares and/or ≥1,50,000 sq.m. built-up area (8b).
APPCB CTE/CFO: Applicable separately as per Water & Air Acts, even where EC is not required.
EC applications: Through PARIVESH.
APPCB approvals: Through the AP state online/single-window system.
Violations/defaults may attract environmental compensation/penalties.
